Florida Atlantic Libraries Receives Rare Donation of Duke of Windsor’s Autobiography

Florida Atlantic University Libraries has received a rare, signed edition of King Edward VIII’s autobiography, A King’s Story, donated by philanthropist Susan Watts in honor of her late husband, Bruce Watts. The limited edition, bound in red Moroccan leather, is one of only 385 copies and adds significant value to the library’s Marvin & Sybil Weiner Spirit of America Collection. This memoir provides a rare glimpse into Edward VIII’s reign and abdication, offering valuable insight into 20th-century British history for students, researchers, and the public.
